Common Questions

What is your return policy?

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason feel free to return it within 14 days of receipt for a full refund minus the cost of shipping.

 

How soon will items ship?

Items that are complete will ship within 3 days. Custom and made-to-order items normally ship within 1 week.

 

Do you have a physical store?

No. I am working on an in-home store. Coming soon.

 

Do you teach classes?

I have taught various art courses but never jewelry-making. It is something I would like to explore. We shall see.

 

How do you clean badly tarnished copper?
Tarnish is not for everybody, to clean your item rub a mixture of 1 tablespoon of table salt and 1 cup of white vinegar onto the copper with a soft cloth and rinse. Or, immerse the tarnished copper into a pot of 3 cups of water and the salt-vinegar mixture, bring to a boil and boil until the grime and tarnish comes off.

*If your item is clear coated it is protected

* Most of the items listed have an intentional patina. If the copper is cleaned with the method above it will remove this patina. If there is a patina you want to retain and brighten your wears mildly use #0000 steal wool. 

Am I able to pick up my order if in the Chicago Metropolitan area?

Yes, picking up your purchase is possible. I'm on the south side of Chicago. Contact me if interested in picking up items

I mistakenly damaged my jewelry. Can it be repaired?

Some damage can be repaired but for items with extensive damage, other options will have to be explored. Email me a picture of the damaged item, and we can discuss solutions. 

Who built your website and captured your images?

For 25 years I've been a Graphic Designer and for the last 15 years a Photographer. I designed this site and took most of the photos. If interested in having a website created, or need photography services feel free to reach out and we can discuss options. 

What if my item is lost in the mail?

Unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for lost and stolen items. Once your item is shipped I will send a courtesy email including the tracking number so that you are aware of the delivery progress. 

If you would like the items insured or to have a sign at delivery option, contact me before purchasing. These additional fees may change the final cost.

Do you provide wholesale prices?

Yes. Please contact me to discuss the details.

 

Is shipping free?

Shipping is included for jewelry and small accessories.

There will be an additional charge to cover shipping for larger items. 

 

Do you ship out of the US?

As of now, no. Generally speaking, shipping items out of the country is still too costly. 

 

Do you have a rush option?

Rush items are possible with additional charges. I can guarantee the shipping date, and provide a tracking number, however, please be aware that once the item is in transit the delivery date is dependent on the carrier service.
